I read this Good Housekeeping piece about “grandma hobbies” being good for your mental health, and I’ve never felt so seen. Of course, we already know that all the things our grannies did—knitting, crocheting, gardening—are basically therapy wrapped up in yarn and dirt. They left out cross stitch, but we know it’s in the same category.
